Lisa Hiraide is a versatile litigator drawing on over two decades of experience. Her diverse practice includes complex business litigation, representing corporate entities and individuals in state and federal courts, and arbitration in commercial, securities, professional liability, and employment law disputes. Ms. Hiraide has also represented public entities against premises liability claims and excessive force claims against law enforcement agencies. She has successfully briefed and argued numerous dispositive and discovery motions, successfully briefed and argued before the California Court of Appeal, and secured an arbitration award for her client in FINRA against a brokerage firm. She has civil trial experience in state court and criminal court as a volunteer attorney with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. Prior to law school, Ms. Hiraide worked as a staff research associate at UCLA’s Brian Research Institute.
When not working, Ms. Hiraide enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
