Jackson L. Mann
Associate Attorney
Overview
Mr. Mann represents California public entities as civil litigation defense counsel. His practice areas include civil rights and police liability, general negligence, premises and personal injury liability, and dangerous conditions of public property. He is involved in all stages of the civil litigation process, from initial case evaluation, legal research, and law and motion practice through written discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
Prior to joining Lynberg & Watkins, Mr. Mann practiced probate litigation at The Legacy Lawyers, P.C. in Irvine, where he appeared in court hearings, drafted petitions, motions, and memoranda of points and authorities, researched controlling authority on contested issues, and developed discovery plans and deposition outlines to build the evidentiary record for trial. Before that, Mr. Mann served as a Certified Law Clerk at Wright Law Corporation in Roseville, where he drafted complaints, motions, and written discovery across a full-service civil litigation docket.
Mr. Mann earned his Juris Doctor from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2025, graduating in the top 22% of his class with a Certificate of Emphasis in Tax Law. He received the Highest Grade Award in Criminal Procedure and Police Practice and was a 2025 Tax Law Honors Scholarship recipient. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology, with an emphasis in neurobiology, from the University of California, Berkeley in 2022.
