John T. Brazier
Senior Associate
Overview
With over 40 years of experience in both the construction industry and the legal field, Mr. Brazier’s practice is grounded in real-world insight and strategic legal advocacy. His career began in 1981 as a construction laborer and progressed through nearly every level of the industry—from hands-on fieldwork to executive leadership roles. Over more than a decade, his responsibilities included estimating and managing multimillion-dollar projects, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the construction business from the inside out. He eventually obtained a specialty contractor’s license and founded a company that continues to serve the industry today.
In 1989, while continuing to work as a construction project manager and estimator, Mr. Brazier began pursuing higher education and quickly committed to the goal of entering the legal profession. That decision was driven by a desire to apply his extensive industry knowledge in a legal context and to provide clients with practical, experience-based counsel. After completing his legal education and gaining broad experience, he was admitted to the California Bar in 2021.
Since that time, Mr. Brazier’s legal practice has focused almost exclusively on complex construction matters. He has handled high-value disputes involving claims totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. His trial experience includes ten jury trials to verdict—among them, an eight-week trial featuring more than 20 witnesses, including both expert and percipient testimony.
