Emma A. Goolsby
Associate Attorney
Overview
Ms. Goolsby represents clients across a wide range of practice areas in both state and federal court, including intellectual property, public entity defense, construction defect, product liability, premises liability, and general tort matters. She handles complex litigation from initial pleadings through trial, with experience in motion practice, discovery, depositions, alternative dispute resolution, expert witness coordination, case management, legal research and writing, and trial preparation.
Ms. Goolsby graduated from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in May 2025. During her law school career, Ms. Goolsby served as the Business Editor on the Pepperdine Journal for Business, Entrepreneurship & the Law. She received a certificate in Business & Entrepreneurship with an emphasis on Intellectual Property, Entertainment, and Technology from the Palmer Center, and worked as a research assistant on copyright and patent issues. Ms. Goolsby also studied abroad at Pepperdine Law’s London program.
Ms. Goolsby is admitted to practice law in California and currently practices as a Litigation Associate in the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office.
