Tamar is a litigator with extensive general civil defense experience, successfully representing clients in all phases of civil litigation, including pre-lawsuit investigation, discovery, dispositive motions and trial in state and federal courts across the country. Tamar’s practice focuses on government defense and public entity defense including a variety of claims such as civil rights, police liability, and general tort liability.
Tamar is admitted to practice law in California, all four California District Courts, all four California Bankruptcy Courts, the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. She is also a California licensed real estate broker.
Tamar obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California, Magna Cum Laude, and her juris doctor from the Southwestern Law School.
