In nearly three decades of practice, E. Todd Trumper has successfully represented businesses and management in complex litigation in state and federal courts and before public administrative agencies.
Mr. Trumper’s practice has included land use and litigating intellectual property rights, disputes between corporate shareholders and members of limited liability companies, defending directors and officers, and representing Fortune 500 companies in multi-district (MDL) actions involving anti-trust claims, exclusive dealing arrangements, tying and bundling agreements, restraint of trade allegations, and defense of pharmaceutical injury claims.
In addition to business and corporate litigation, Mr. Trumper has represented management and prevailed in numerous employment discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, and wrongful discharge claims at the trial and appellate court level and defeated state and federal wage and hour class actions on behalf of employers. Mr. Trumper also advises businesses on policy, non-compete clauses, employment best practices, investigations, and alternative dispute resolution.
Mr. Trumper has won trials as first chair and second chair and taken and defended hundreds of depositions throughout the U.S. He is an active member of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (LA Chapter) and the Labor & Employment and Entertainment & Intellectual Property Law sections of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Mr. Trumper graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law where he was Executive Editor of the San Diego Law Review.
