Premises Liability
The courts in California have extended and broadened the basis upon which claimants can recover from property owners or managers for injuries occasioned by the criminal conduct of third parties. There has also been steady change to the law regarding liability for alleged dangerous conditions of public property. These areas of the law have been termed “premises liability.” Lynberg & Watkins has been involved in the defense of such claims since the expansion of this area of the law commenced and has developed significant expertise at both the trial and appellate levels.
